Sporting Privileges Examples
Membership Summary – How it Works
The outdoor experiences available at Presnell Sporting Collection venues produce indelible, unforgettable memories. Membership is, therefore, the perfect medium for advancing a Members’ personal objectives and business goals. We recognize an outdoor experience is all about camaraderie. Our Venues will accommodate multiple people so that key business and family relationships can be forged or maintained in an atmosphere of luxury and excellence.
Memberships can be acquired by individuals or through a corporate or business entity. Members have full right to designate their employees, colleagues, customers, patrons, friends or family members to enjoy any of our outdoor experiences.
A Membership is secured by payment of a one-time Membership Deposit or Fee. Thereafter, each Member pays the cost incurred for only those actual experiences that the Member reserves. Presnell Sporting Collection employs its purchasing power and contacts to negotiate the best terms for Members. Members’ costs for experiences they select are less than what an individual Member would be required to pay if the experiences were even available.
Membership renews every year at the option of the Member by payment of a minimum Annual Dues Payment of $1,000. Members can therefore continue their Membership at their pleasure during its term.
The Legacy Membership
Each Membership is transferable, as provided for in the Rules and Regulations of Presnell Sporting Collection. Memberships can be transferred to immediate family members by payment of a nominal administrative fee at any time. The legacy of a Presnell Sporting Collection Membership is designed to be passed on to family and loved ones.
Presnell Sporting Collection will return a Legacy Membership Deposit for a Membership that is and at all times has been in good standing.
A Member can request the return of the Legacy Deposit paid at any time. Consistent with our Guarantee of Excellence, a Member may seek a 90% return of the Legacy Membership Deposit during the First Year. The return is 80% for Years 2 through 5; 70% for Years 6 – 15, and the Member receives after Year 16 the market price for the last four Legacy Membership Deposits received, less a 15% transfer free. All of the details of this industry leading Legacy Deposit Return are in the Rules and Regulations and Membership Agreement.
Sporting Privileges and Reservations
Each Member selects the number of Sporting Privileges that are needed in order to make reservations. All Presnell Sporting Collection Venues include accommodations and experiences for 2 or more.
All reservations are made on a first come, first serve, space available basis. Members are encouraged to contact Presnell Sporting
Collection World Reservation Services early to assist with their planning.
Sporting Privileges can also be converted into The Registry Collection program credits in order to access The Registry Collection program impressive portfolio of high-end resorts and destinations. These credits can also be saved to the next use year in accordance with the standard rules of The Registry Collection program.
For reservations Presnell Sporting Collection Members make at destinations offered through The Registry Collection program, Presnell Sporting Collection Members will pay the standard transaction fees of that program.
There is no requirement that an Owner of a Membership actually participate in the experience. We recognize our individual Members and the principals of our corporate Memberships have hectic schedules and we encourage the use of Presnell Sporting Collection Memberships to meet business objectives. Privileges can be enjoyed by anyone designated by a Member, and the Presnell Guarantee of Excellence is designed to ensure that a Member can, with the utmost confidence, designate employees, clients, customers, friends, or family members to experience a Presnell Sporting Collection adventure and then look forward to hearing the accolades.
Presnell Sporting Collection also has programs and procedures to liquidate and/or exchange, on a case-by-case basis, unused Sporting Privileges if a Member should have to make a cancellation at the last minute. This Member Exchange Program and “Hot List” for special inventory available from our Venues and/or Members in case of a cancelation is available on our Website.
Each Presnell Sporting Collection Member is enrolled as a member with Global Rescue to insure their safety while traveling. Upgrades to cover family members and personal security may also be obtained by Members through Global Rescue. Presnell Sporting Collection also offers its Members the option of purchasing, Sportsman Insurance. This insurance would reimburse a Member for any loss covered by the policy in the event of a cancellation.
Why it Works
The principals of Presnell Sporting Collection, with decades of passion in the outdoor arena and a track record of commercial real estate success, have utilized their contacts, business acumen, and purchasing power to secure access to the foremost hunting and fishing experiences.
This inventory is secured under contracts that provide if any specific Lodge were to fail, default, or cease to meet the industry leading requirements of the Presnell Guarantee of Excellence Index, then Presnell Sporting Collection reserves the right to suspend payment and secure a replacement. Unlike clubs where the portfolio is encumbered by a mortgage, and thus subject to the risk of a default and the loss of that venue with no prospect for replacement, no such risk exists in Presnell Sporting Collection. If a Collection Lodge falters, a new venue meeting our exacting scoring requirements
is substituted.
Presnell Sporting Collection has no debt. The risks associated with debt and excessive leverage simply do not exist in the Presnell Sporting Collection model.
In addition, the dues that Members pay for the reservations that they actually make are based on the costs of the requested experiences. Thus, while the dues are less than what Members would pay on an individual basis for the bundled rights available, the dues secure the experiences that Members reserve and pay the annual operating expenses of Presnell Sporting Collection. Unlike clubs that subsidize artificially low annual dues with high Membership fees, and thus run the risk of failure when and if sales decline, Presnell Sporting Collection is soundly constructed to avoid any such inevitable failure by equating the dues to the actual cost of operations.
In summary, Presnell Sporting Collection presents its Members with superlative hunting, fishing, and luxury leisure travel experiences under a model that has been carefully designed to avoid risk and insure satisfaction. A Presnell Sporting Collection Membership insures a Members’ legacy.
